The Tavern

    Located on the ground floor of Steel Bear Enterprises is our Company's tavern.  Aptly named The Bear's Den, we serve up the finest cuts of steak, the freshest fish and desserts;  all crafted to the highest quality and exquisite taste.

   The Bear's Den employs a variety of skilled people from all walks of life. If you're looking for a steady income, a safe place to work and be surrounded by those who welcome you, the Den needs you.

REQUIREMENTS

 

OOC: Due to the public nature of the Tavern department; we are looking for those who enjoy interacting with the server at large.  The tavern dept. will be hosting events that will require reliability and consistency.  We need people who are able to multitask in a sometimes hectic and busy situation.  We ask that if you do sign up to work an event and cannot make it, you let someone know in advance so there is no surprises.

*Being part of the tavern does not mean you cannot join another department.  Members are encouraged to intermingle and discover the multi facets of Steel Bear Enterprises. 

 

IC:  Tavern staff will be responsible for manning the bar, cook station, waiting tables and entertainment. All positions are required to wear an uniform which will be provided by the Tavern Manager.   Staff is provided with one hot meal and non-alcoholic beverages per day.

Head Chef - this position is responsible for the execution of the menu provided to the highest standards of taste and quality.  

Bartender(s) - this position is responsible for the execution of the drink menu to the highest quality and prepared as stipulated by the Tavern Manager.

Wait Staff - this position is responsible for providing excellent customer service; even in the face of danger.  Cleaning and maintaining the tables, chairs and floors is required, unless bussing staff is on duty. **At no time are customers allowed to touch the wait staff.

Bussing Staff - this position is responsible for the clearing and cleaning of tables during bar hours.  Washing, rinsing and putting away tableware is required.

Dancer(s) - This position requires entertainers of nimble and/or graceful quality.  They will provide entertainment by dancing or singing on the stage provided in the bar area.  Dancers are permitted to provide lap dances but hands must remain above waist of the customer and providing they have been invited to give such a dance by the customer. **At no time are customers allowed to touch the dancers.

Causes for dismissal/firing:  

1. Theft of Company Goods;  at no time are tavern staff permitted to drink alcohol or eat while on duty unless they are on break. 

2. Giving away Company Goods without permission;  at no time are tavern staff permitted to give away food or alcohol without prior consent from management.  This includes to other members of the Company.  The only person that will ever be served completely free of charge is the company owner, Berduta Swordhand.

3. Arriving for work intoxicated or under the influence;  For our customers safety and our own, you will be removed from the tavern as soon as possible.
