Company Policies
#1 - Don't be a dick.
Activity & Inactivity;
Your activity in game and on Discord is the biggest factor in how successful you will be and how successful the company will become. Without activity, little else matters.

Discord contains a LOT of useful OOC and IC information. Please visit regularly to stay updated!
We currently remove members who have not been in game or on Discord for 30 days. If you plan to be gone that long please make sure you post a Leave of Absence on Discord as well as have any responsibilities taken care of.
Representation & Expectations;
We support an inclusive environment for LGBT and all races and religions. Hateful or violent speech of any type will not be tolerated, including imagery or content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, hateful, invasive of personal privacy, or objectionable in a reasonable person’s view. In addition to in-game guild chat, this includes Discord, and all other areas of guild communication.

If an issue arises, speak to an officer immediately. If there is no officer online in-game and someone is behaving unacceptably, take a screenshot of the issue and send it to Berduta via Discord as soon as possible. Do not perpetuate the drama. Do not argue with them.

Slandering your guild mates or the guild itself on public channels is grounds for removal from the FC.

Metagaming (using OOC information to manipulate a situation ICly) and God-moding (forcing your will upon someone else's character without their consent) will not be tolerated.

Please represent Steel Bear Enterprises in a positive manner. What you do and how you act are reflections upon the FC.
Erotic Roleplay;
We know it happens, but we have a strict 'No Public ERP' stance. That being said, what you do in your own whispers or party chat with players who agree to it is up to you. There are no channels in our Discord for ERP so do not hold it there.

Ensure that you always have express consent before engaging in erotic roleplay with another. Not doing so can be construed as sexual harassment.

Sharing logs or screenshots of ERP will not be tolerated, most especially if there is not consent to share from all sides. Have respect for your fellow guild members.
Company Procedures
Below is a break down of things you need to know when joining the company.
Leadership Team:
IC & OOC Owner of Steel Bear Ent - Berduta Swordhand
OOC Officers - Dodokota Bebekota - IC Manager of the Mecenary Dept.
Open - IC Manager of the Markets
Evie Chalahko - IC Manager of the Tavern
Upon joining the FC, you will be set at initiate rank. You will remain at this rank for about a month* as it will most likely take you that long to fulfill the necessary tasks you'll be given by management. Should you finish sooner, you must contact Berduta and let him know.
The month time period serves two purposes; 1 - it helps you figure out if we're a good fit for you and 2 - due to RL issues and scheduling, RP necessary to be done during this period may take a bit of time.
The Initiate Rank - What to expect:
During the initiate phase several things will take place. Maybe you joined the FC knowing what department you wanted to work in but if not, this phase will help you choose.
You will be contacted by Berduta and ICly be given a small leather bound note book with 3 blank pages. You will be directed to visit each of the department managers who will in turn give you tasks to be completed. Expect to spend about a week working in each department. Upon completion of each department task, the department manager will stamp a page in the book.
Once you've obtained all three department stamps, you will return the book to Berduta. From this point is where you decided which department you want to join and will become officially part of the Steel Bear payroll.
Departments:
Each department manager is in charge of hosting and running events for their departments. They are in charge of facilitating RP for their departments; either one on one or by group method. Each department operates independently.
Members are encouraged to help out in all departments. If you join the Market department, you are more than welcome to join in on mercenary things or work in the tavern.
Discord:
Discord is our main form of contact and for making announcements. Please make sure you join our Discord server as soon as possible.
Problems, Concerns or Questions:
Regardless of what anyone tells you, whatever answer you get from Berduta is the correct one. If you have an issue with someone or a concern, please contact Berduta through a DM on Discord. Simple questions regarding the departments can be directed to the department managers. Problems with members, conduct and other sensitive matters need to go to Berduta directly via Discord.
