When first joining Steel Bear most people have an idea which department they want to work under.   If you haven't decided or can't make up your mind - don't worry! That is what the initiate phase is for.

During the initiate phase you will be able to work with each department head and get a feel for that department.  By the time the initiate phase is over, you should be able to make a choice.

Maximum time period allowed for Initiate Phase:  30 days

​

~ During this phase you will be monitored by management regarding your activity, play style and over all general activity with the game and guild.  If two weeks have gone by and you have made no effort to have your IC interview or  work on the task portion of the phase, you will be contacted by a member of management to see if we can resolve whatever issues may be affecting you.  By the end of the 3rd week you still have not started your initiate phase, you will receive a warning.

Once the 30 day mark has come and you still have not started your initiate phase, you will be asked to leave the company.

Steps of the Initiate Phase;

1.  IC interview with Berduta or one of the officer team.

                                * At this time, your character will receive a small notebook with 

                                    4 blank pages and a link pearl.

2. Contact with the Management of each department and receive a task.

                                 * For this part of the phase your character will need to seek out the head  

                                    of each department.  They will receive a "task" from the department 

                                     head that must be completed.  Once it is completed the manager will

                                     sign off on one of the blank pages in your notebook.

3. Bring your notebook back to Berduta and choose a department.

                                 * By the time you receive your last signature, you should have an idea 

                                     of which department you want to be under.

 

** Even if you work for one department - members are encouraged to help out in all departments.

After Step 3 you will become a member.  The length of the initiate phase will depend on 

scheduling between you and the department leaders but will not exceed 30 calendar days.
